Sanctuary Tambarare Camp offers 10 luxurious canvas tents with private verandas. These spacious tents feature teak floors, Masai-inspired art, and super king beds with panoramic views. Each tent boasts an en-suite with a walk-in shower, double basin, and premium towels. After wildlife adventures, unwind in the main tent, relax on inviting sofas, enjoy delectable dishes in the restaurant, or savor drinks at the bar tent with a deck and boma views.
After adventurous days tracking lions, riding horses with rhinos, or spotting giraffes, elephants, gazelle, and zebra in the wildlife retreat, guests can retire to the secluded camp for sundowners, relaxation, and attentive five-star service. Inside the main tent, inviting sofas and chairs encourage one to linger, while at the camp’s restaurant, chefs impress by preparing delicious dishes, salads, freshly baked breads, and any special requirements, from vegetarian meals to anniversary dinners. There’s also a refined bar tent with a deck and loungers overlooking the boma.
Each luxury guest tent is large and airy (57sqm), with a private veranda overlooking the grassy plains. Gently billowing white curtains add to the romance, with Masai-inspired art in traditional blue – representing the sky and precious rainwater. Enjoy floor-to-ceiling cinematic views of the landscape from the super king beds. The ensuite boasts a walk-in shower, double basin and sumptuous towels.

At Sanctuary Tambarare, guests can explore Ol Pejeta Conservancy with daily game drives, where expert guides enrich the experience. In addition to the Big Five and many other animals (from cheetahs and jackal to hippos and hyena), the conservancy is home to over 130 black rhinos.
At the camp’s superb restaurant, chefs impress by preparing delicious dishes, fresh salads and freshly baked breads right here in the middle of the bush. The friendly team are happy to attend to guests’ wishes and any requirements, from vegetarian meals to a special anniversary dinner.
